Rail-mounted hall roofs and gates

Movable hall roofs that run on rail systems must be secured against unwanted movements (storms, hurricanes, and earthquakes). Storm brakes, also known as rail clamps, serve as a relevant safety element in this regard.

• 32 storm locks of type “VZFH-3” secure the two movable halves of the hall roof of the “Sports Hub” sports arena in Singapore. Each half of the hall roof is approximately 40 m wide and 200 m long.
• 36 “VZFH-2” storm guards secure the movable hall roof of the new stadium in Hong Kong (currently still under construction).
